This policy explains how Ungrowables ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through this website and in the course of our business with merchants.
This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or contact forms. We do not collect any information when you simply visit it. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
Information you send us
If you email us, we receive your name, email address and anything you choose to include, such as business details or a processing statement. We use this only to respond to you, prepare a review or quote you asked for, and provide services you sign up for.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. If you choose to open a merchant account, the information needed for your application is shared with the payment processor we act for, which has its own privacy obligations. We may also use trusted service providers (for example, email and document storage) that process information on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law.
Google user data
Where we use our own Google accounts and tools that connect to Google APIs for internal business purposes, such as organizing business correspondence and records, that data is used only to provide those internal features. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we take reasonable measures to protect it.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal requirements. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
